Many of us suffer from the 3pm dip which often comes on fast and makes us really tired and down. Instead of running to the fridge and grabbing something sweet, make yourself a longer lasting treat that will hold you up until dinner. Here is my favorite which I came up with not too long ago and it tastes delicious.

Ingredients
  1. 2 glasses of 2% lactose free milk (tastes much better than the regular milk)
  2. 1/4 cup of coconut flour (Trader Joes)
  3. 1/4 cup of Almond meal (Trader Joes)
  4. 1-2 green apples (sour type)
  5. 2 cups(or 1 cup will do, if you want) of spinach (fresh or frozen, leaves, either way works)
Instructions
  1. Mix it all in blender to a fluffy smoothie, serve in a fancier glass and put parsley on top. Voila..enjoy the treat. If you want the smoothie to be a little lighter and not as thick, add water or ice or even more milk. This is almost like eating a sports bar but has far more fiber, protein and vitamins (don't forget the almond meal=nuts!!!. Plenty of fatty acids)
